Step 2: How to Add Your Brand Style Guide

One of your first steps should be to dial in your brand style. I'll walk you through it.

Let's go ahead and get the start of your brand style guide all set up. I'll walk you through a few steps here and you can follow along with the video above.

1. Create a new website page

I typically suggest accessing the theme styles from the content editor.  So, create a page and make sure you have your correct Child Theme selected.

2. Select the Style Guide Template

This is an awesome helper template that will allow you to see the changes to your theme styles a lot easier.

3. Access the Theme Settings

This option is available under the Edit menu item at the very top.

4. Explore all the theme settings available

The video above will explain these at a high level.  Be sure to publish the changes so that all pages utilizing your child theme will have your updated brand style.
